Tanzanian Air Plane Crashes Into Lake Victoria

 At least 19 people were killed when a Tanzanian passenger plane crashed into Lake Victoria while attempting to land in the lakeside town of Bukoba just 100 meters from airport. Out of the 43 passengers only 26 were rescued and sent to the hospital. The two pilots survived the crash and were able to communicate with local officials from the cockpit, but the prime minister believes they have since died. Rescuers and local fishermen are attempting to reach those who remain trapped. I feel sorry for these people becasue they were so close to their destination and couldn't do anything to save themselves. Even tough planes are the safest way of travel when something goes wrong they are the most dangerous. A plane crash from a high altitude with a rapid momentum either ends up with an explosion or a very hard collision. If you manage to survive the crash you then need to get out of the plane and find help. Tha's why plane accidents are so bad. Plane companies should think of adding a way to quickly slow down a plane before crashing to avoid more incidents like this.
