Twenty seven bodies dumped by the roadside in Zambia

The bodies of 27 people have been dropped along the roadside in the Ngwerere district north of Zambia's capital Lusaka. They most likely died of suffocation while in transport. Based on the identification documents found on the migrants, investigators assume they are Ethiopian nationals. I believe this is a global issue and we can do little about it. Every day, many people abandon their home countries in search of safety, the majority of whom are illegal immigrants. They are transported in horrible conditions, with little water, food, or even air, because crossing most countries' borders without the proper documentation is unlawful. We may try to solve this issue by building more shelters specifically for refugees.

  1. Building shelters won't help. We need to make the world a more equal place.
