NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test

 First time in human history we launched a spacecraft that successfully collided with an asteroid changing its trajectory. Why is it such a big deal ? Well, the asteroids diameter is around 160 meters and the spacecraft isn’t bigger than an average car and was sent almost a year ago. This means 2 things : extremely precise calculations and highly advanced astrophysics. Our future generations will be much safer since we already have an early stage of an asteroid defense system and they won’t end up like dinosaurs. I think not only it shows how we advance in technology and science but also creates many opportunities in future. Being able to move asteroids could advance into moving stars or even planets. We would be able to shape our solar system however we want.
