TED Talk #7 Are teenagers nowadays more or less happy than their parents at the same age ?

I personally think that teens nowadays are less happy than their parents at the same age. It’s mainly because of social media and huge amount of different brands. A lot of teens these days are developing depression because of hate coming from social media. Back in the days there were no social medias and probably not even phones so there were far less hate thus teens would be more happy and spend more time outside. Second thing is that throughout the years a lot of brands were created and there is far more same items to choose from and the more choices you make the sadder you become. Their parents had very limited brands to choose from so they were happier. To sum up teens nowadays are less happy than their parents at their age because of hate coming from social media and a lot of choices.
